The Tennessee Vols men’s baseball team is celebrating their first championship win & the city of Knoxville is throwing a party for our boys in orange!
Downtown Knoxville will be hosting a parade and celebration tonight with the parade beginning around 6:30p on Gay Street. The parade will go down to Wall Avenue.
Immediately following the parade, the celebration will continue in Market Square.
Road closures for the parade go into effect around 6p.
The Volunteers took the title for National Champions of the College World Series on Monday in game 3 against The Aggies. They won with a final score of 6-5. This is the first win for Tennessee men’s baseball in the schools history.
