It’s the freakin weekend and you might hit up a bar and a have a few drinks or enjoy a cocktail at home. Wherever you’re planning on drinking, you might have a playlist of songs to go along with your beverage.

Flask & Barrel analyzed over 23,000 drinking playlists on Spotify and found the best drinking song overall and then broke it down by each U.S. state.

20 years later, and Usher’s “Yeah” is still making an impact. Overall, it was the best drinking song appearing in 1,191 party playlists. However, Drake is the number one artist people like to party to noting that it had

twice the number of featured tracks on party playlists as the next highest artist, Zach Bryan.

It’s no surprise being in the south, Tennessee’s most popular drinking songs consist of a lot of country music, occupying six of the top 10; number 1 being “Beer Never Broke My Heart” by Luke Combs.

TN’s top 10 drinking songs are:

  1. Beer Never Broke my Heart by Luke Combs
  2. Crank That (Soulja Boy) by Soulja Boy
  3. Cruise by Florida Georgia Line
  4. Heartache On The Dance Floor by Jon Pardi
  5. No Hands by Wacka Flock Flame
  6. Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off by Joe Nichols
  7. Whiskey Glasses by Morgan Wallen
  8. Redrum by 21 Savage
  9. Chasin’ You by Morgan Wallen
  10. Low by SZA

As far as TN’s favorite artist to drink to, it’s Knoxville’s own, Morgan Wallen. But the list contains a good mix of country artists, hip hop, rock and, of course, Taylor Swift.
