Currently, one of the top trending searches on Google is “Who is Ingrid Andress?”
She’s a country singer and 4-time Grammy nominee. She also performed the National Anthem on Monday (July 15) at the MLB Home Run Derby in Arlington, TX. She’s trending because of her rendition of the country’s anthem. It wasn’t great, to put it nicely.
It started off OKAY but then it just got worse and worse. Soon after, people on social media were criticizing her less-than-stellar performance; some even saying it was the worst.

On Tuesday, Ingrid issued an apology on her Instagram and admitted she was drunk during the performance. Also, stating that she would be checking herself into rehab.
Was it bad? Yes. Was it the worst? That’s now up for discussion. Because who can forget Roseanne Barr’s performance in 1990 at the Padres game. Or more recently, Fergie’s *interesting* rendition at the NBA All-Star Game in 2018, where players could barely contain their laughter.
