Krispy Kreme made the [punny] announcement on social media letting people know to stop by between 5p-7p to get their Original Glazed Doughnut. The offer is good in store and drive-thru, and is limited to one per customer.
The outage on Friday was caused by the cybersecurity company, CrowdStrike, when it sent out a software update that had a bug in it. Any machines running Microsoft crashed, as a result. CNBC breaks it all down.
