Sevier Animal Care Center is hoping people will open up theirs hearts and homes to a new fur baby as they are “extremely” over capacity.
The shelter shared the news on their Facebook page saying that they are in need of adopters and fosters. Due to the amount of dogs and puppies they have, they’ve had to house them all throughout the facility.
…we’ve had to put 10 dogs in crates down our hallway, a puppy in our visit room, 9 dogs outside in the outdoor runs(day and night), and several in offices.
Now is the time to adopt if you’ve been thinking about it. On Thursday, they posted an update saying that ALL adoption fees are waived [until further notice] to help with the overflow.
The shelter is open until Saturday from 1p-5p.
If adoption isn’t an option, consider fostering. More info here.
They’re also low on food and supplies. You can further help out by donating.
